                                         Anniversary!

The 25th anniversary celebration of Freedom in Christ Canada was a great weekend. It included numerous messages by Dr. Neil Anderson and a wonderful banquet. All this happened in Regina from November 1 to 3. Everyone who bought the newly revised book, The Bondage Breaker, received a free Bondage Breaker Devotional book with it.

It is also 25 years since we, Ken and Carolee Neufeld, became staff with Freedom in Christ! These have been very rich years for us. In 2002 we transitioned to being Living Free Ministries, but continued to be associates of FIC and continued what we had been doing – teaching workshops, praying with people and developing materials. We thank God for these 25 years.

7 weeks, 7 people

Spring is a time for new things - leaves budding and the grass turning green.  A 7-week Supper Study has sprung up on McMillan Avenue. We are glad to have 7 people at our dining room table for Carolee's homemade soup and Ken's homemade bread. Then we have a study and sharing time, guided by our new book Forgiveness, Finding Freedom and Healing and most of all, guided by what the Bible teaches on forgiveness.

Thursday, April 18, 2019

We, Ken and Carolee Neufeld, are pleased to announce that our new book, Forgiveness, Finding Freedom and Healing, was launched on Saturday, April 6th, 2019!

On that same evening, a team from the French Fellowship at Calvary Temple shared stories from Africa. They told of the atrocities being experienced through civil war and the great need for victims to forgive instead of seeking revenge or living in bitterness. They told their own experiences of being shot, tortured, imprisoned and then choosing to forgive.

Teams from that congregation have translated Living Free materials into French, Swahili, Lingala and Juba Arabic. In the summer of 2019 there will be a second trip to Africa to teach pastors and community leaders about forgiveness. At the cost of 80 cents a piece (Cdn), they will be printing 9,000 workbooks for use in Uganda and the DRC. So far almost $5,000 has come in for this project. Donations are welcome! You can call Ken at 204-612-6758 to find out how you can make a contribution.

Hello Friends,

We would like you to celebrate with us as our second book is being launched!  Copies will be available for $15.00.

We have an invitation for you to hear God stories from Africa by Dr. James Okot and become involved in a powerful outreach to people who are overwhelmed and traumatized through Civil War.

The back story is this: We have taught many forgiveness workshops and in the process we developed a workbook for participants. After we did the forgiveness workshop at Calvary Temple, Jame Okot, Pastor of Ethnic Ministries and his team translated our workbook into French, Swahili and Lingala and had 6000 copies printed. Then they took our forgiveness teaching to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Uganda. The response by the pastors and leaders in those countries was phenomenal. They all see forgiveness as critical to being healed from the trauma of atrocities and displacement. By contrast, anger and bitterness will lock people into PTSD.

Pastor James and his team plan to go once again this summer. This time they are adding a fourth language - Arabic Juba for the South Sudanese people. They will be again be teaching pastors and leaders and this time are providing 9000 workbooks for them to use in their churches. The team is trusting God to bring in the funds for their expenses plus about $7,000 for printing workbooks.  By coming to this event you can support this very important mission which is an extension of Living Free Ministries

We hope you can join us on April 6th.
Ken and Carolee Neufeld

PS.  If you cannot come, please consider making a donation to Living Free Ministries, designated to "Africa Outreach." Call us if you would like a copy of our new book!
