Note from Ken and Carolee
Below are comments from good friends.  Treat their comments like a eulogy!  If you know us, you realize that some things are overstated.  We appreciate their support and encouragement.  The real proof of a ministry is whether transformation is taking place.  We simply desire to be faithful.

Freedom in Christ leaders speak out:

"I am grateful for my friends, Ken and Carolee Neufeld, who have a wonderful ministry of helping Christians live a liberated life in Christ."
Dr. Neil T. Anderson, Founder and President Emeritus of Freedom in Christ Ministries

"Ken and Carolee have truly come to know the truth that sets us free and their hearts have burned to spread this good news of freedom now for many years. Whether in Canada or elsewhere in the world, the Neufelds have been faithful ambassadors for Christ and ministers of reconciliation. I am honored to count them as colleagues and friends and I commend their ministry in Christ wholeheartedly." Rich Miller, President, Freedom In Christ Ministries – USA

"Ken and Carolee Neufeld have been teaching the Freedom message for over 20 years. They have seen many captives set free through their faithful service and ministry to churches and individuals. It has been an honour to serve with them and watch God use them in significant ways. I strongly encourage you to take advantage of the ministry that God has called them to - helping others find their freedom." Clay Bergen, Director of Freedom In Christ Canada, 1999-2015; currently Prayer Coordinator for FIC International

Pastors affirm this ministry:

"Ken & Carolee come to their ministry with a lot of credibility. Besides raising a family, teaching, pastoring, they have helped hundreds of people through their seminars that focus on finding and living in the freedom that Christ wants us to enjoy. Both Ken and Carolee have a wonderful mix of empathy and no-nonsense sincerity. Those churches or groups that invite them to minister among them will experience an opportunity to break sinful habits that cripple many believers." Ralph Unger, Past Pastor of Morrow Gospel Church, Winnipeg

"I have known Ken and Carolee for nearly 15 years now. I first met them through a divine appointment with one of their children in Pearson International airport. That meeting lead to a number of missions to our church in Atlantic Canada where they held some of the largest training sessions ever recorded in Canada in freedom ministries. The ripple effect went out to many churches in our region and I can honestly testify that the region has never been the same since. There is a new level of understanding and practice since those initial visits. They brought a reasonableness and an integrity to a topic that has often been misused and misrepresented. I believe that they are among the finest ambassadors for freedom ministries in the world today." Eric Phinney, Rector of St James the Less Anglican Church, Chairman of the Board, Alpha ministries Canada. Member of the board of Wycliffe Bible Translators, Canada.  Past President Saint John Ministerial Association, Past President Prayer over the City (Saint John, NB)

"We enthusiastically commend the ministry of Ken and Carolee Neufeld. We have known this very special couple for almost twenty years. They have a wonderful heart for the Lord and a great desire to see others develop a deep and mature faith in Christ. They have a profound sensitivity towards others and their gifts of wisdom and discernment have a great impact on their ministry. Their humility and sincerity quickly helps them to establish the kind of trust and openness which is essential for assisting others to discover true freedom in Christ. Individuals can have a solid confidence that the experience and gentleness of Ken and Carolee will enable them to come to grips with the power of His Word in their lives. Pastors can trust Ken and Carolee to respect their leadership and to work supportively to build up individuals in their congregations." Dean MacDonald, Long-time pastor of Hillsborough Baptist Church, NB; interim pastor at Havelock Baptist Church

Other leaders comment:

"Ken and Carolee Neufeld played a fundamental role in the realization of my on-going ministry to hurting women. Their deep sense of caring and aptitude in assisting people to achieve freedom from past hurts and experiences, was key to my becoming free during facilitator training in the Steps to Freedom. It has been my utmost pleasure to work in tandem with them, as well as participating in seminars and/or workshops they have developed." Pat Mohr, Lay counsellor

Comments by those completing Steps to Freedom:

"My session at Living Free Ministries went very well. I believe sharing past traumatic experiences with a facilitator and prayer partner is so very powerful. I have shared my testimony one-on-one with friends but I've never done it intentionally like this. I think the different dynamic that our "group" brought allowed new levels of pain and hurt to vent, bringing comfort and healing."

"There is a newness to my step. I sense a new level of clarity in my spirit. It is certain that the truth sets us free. My challenge now is to stay marinated in the truth daily, because the enemy is not pleased, he has already staged an attack, which is all it is, staged.  A pretence.  The battle has already been won. We are complete in Christ. There is nothing left for us to do but believe, put on the armour, submit to God and resist. If we do this, victory is certain.  Praise God!"

"Thank you for your love, prayers and support. God bless you."

"Thank you for your prayers, time, encouragement and presence in the journey of healing and freedom. I feel healing and ongoing relief... thank you for walking me through it."

Comments by Freedom from Anxiety workshop participants:

"I feel more hopeful about overcoming my worries and my 'what ifs' [anxiety]."

"I had done Steps to freedom earlier but going over these things again is good!  There are no short cuts!"

"The recent workshop was very helpful.  This week I had big anxiety producing challenges.  I turned to the workbook and applied the anchor verses and found truths that strengthened my faith.  I turned to the page that taught "Submit => Resist => Renew" and was reminded of a good strategy to use in overcoming anxious thoughts."

Comments related to the book Overcoming Anxiety:

Overcoming Anxiety fell into my lap at just the right time: it found me amidst a season of grief and recovering from a back injury, which was culminating in bouts of insomnia and anxiety. The Holy Spirit used the anchor verses to minister deeply to my soul each time I read through them in the morning and before bed. I was particularly impacted by how the anchor verses flowed together to create a web of profound comfort and revelation- God truly met me in the Word in a fresh way.  I found this resource to be of tremendous benefit as a part of a greater “spiritual overhaul” God was doing, and as a pastor I will certainly both recommend this book to those I come alongside as well as support them in experiencing God’s presence through the anchor verses.” Brad Warkentin, pastor at Trinity Baptist Church, Winnipeg

“Overcoming Anxiety is a fantastic and very usable handbook for dealing with the root issues and faulty thinking that lie behind our anxieties. It will give you straightforward, effective tools to help you apply the truths of God's Word to your specific situation.” Steve Goss, UK, Executive Director, Freedom in Christ Ministries International

"I have found this book very helpful in my own mental health journey.  It’s a small but powerful little book.  I often carried it with me, in my pocket and purse.  Although the layout isn’t that of a traditional book layout, I found I could open it onto any page and find comfort and inspiration." - KF, a friend

Comments related to the book Forgiveness, Finding Freedom and Healing:

“An accessible guide for both new believers and seasoned disciples. The principles will bring transformation and maturity to individuals and church communities.” Eric Phinney, long-time rector, St. James the Less Anglican Parish, Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada

“A very helpful and practical resource on forgiveness. It is easy to read and straightforward, with clear steps to freedom through forgiveness.” Eldon Pullman, counsellor at Cornerstone Counselling Services; Winnipeg, Canada

Forgiveness, Finding Freedom and Healing is a much needed resource for the body of Christ. The stories and scriptures will help many identify with their own need to forgive.” Judith King, board member, Freedom in Christ International, Social Worker and Counsellor, Michigan
